The puppies turned Five Weeks old yesterday . . . and they are starting to become "little dogs". They are simply adorable.
The problem is, they don't stay that small (but they do stay adorable - wink!). They get bigger and are wild and crazy and need lots of consistent training (praise and treat rewards).

A fellow breeder (Salti Vizslas in Utah) posts these wonderful videos of her training her puppies. I don't normally watch them all the way - don't tell her I said that ;) but I liked that she's showing how easily distracted Vizslas are, and that it takes patience to train them. At the very end she does a little bit of dog show handling, so you can see what that is like.
